More of this...

What a miserable winter this has been so far. It's been cold, frigid, freezing, icy, snowy and slushy. The kind of weather conditions that brings on depression after a while (a while meaning the entire winter).

Complaints about this NYC weather are well justified. The polar vortex is kicking my behind! And how come no one told me that winter was going to be brutal. The farmer's almanac predicted that this winter was going to be "piercing cold", but I get my weather from Good Morning America (Love! by the way) so I had no clue this was coming.

Here's what we can look forward to tomorrow:

The mayor giving his press conference from in front of his Brooklyn home, while shoveling the snow, giving excuses as to why NYC public schools are open

MTA Delays

The gross slush that builds up at corners where people need to cross the street. Yeah, that kind that the bus splashes you with as they drive by. Which is also the kind that doesn't look that deep but is actually as deep as an above ground pool. We all get to dry our socks at work again tomorrow!

This weather has me appreciating the hot, humid days of summer in NYC...

Optimism....

Allow me to re-introduce myself...

This is my second attempt at blogging, I left the first one for dead years ago. Two is my favorite number so hopefully I can keep this blog alive....

Welcome to the blog about nothing in particular. While trying to pinpoint a specific topic for this blog, my indecisive Libra self could not choose just one. I had to have them all!

Another juicy tidbit about this blog is.....

The origins of its making is based on an assignment, like for school (for reals!). Yeah, everyone gets to watch me sweat through grad school...I will be sure to post my complaining as often as possible.

Here's what to expect from this blog:
Celebrity pictures - I love celebrity pictures
Fun natural remedies - Beauty treatments we can find in our fridge, etc.
Current events - Including entertainment news
Sewing - I haven't had time to sew in years, and I'm far from being an expert, but I enjoy sewing
Grad School - Duh! This is an assignment

So, let's get started!!!
